PERTH WATER SPORTS CLUB 2024 – AGM: THURSDAY 7TH MARCH AT 19:00
Hello all! We haven’t been in touch in a while, but we want to start off by thanking everyone who re-joined the club last year! There was a great turnout at the AGM and hopefully we can get the same attendance this year. Our AGM will be at the Clubhouse on Thursday the 7th of March, starting at 7pm.
We are glad to say that for the first time in a long time the club has broke even at the end of the year. A large contributor to breaking even was as a result of the sewer works being carried out in the area by Scottish Water, as they needed use of our slipway to access the river.
We would also like to thank all those who helped with the maintenance and running of the club over the past year. Especially Rab and Shane Brown for helping us with taking the slipway in and out of the water.
The club is still looking for committee members and someone to take on the role of treasurer. We will also pick the date for the maintenance day at the AGM – so we can freshen the Club up for the start of the season.
We look forward to seeing you all at the club and fingers crossed for another Summer of good weather.
