PERTH WATER SPORTS CLUB 2025 – AGM: THURSDAY 27TH FEBRUARY AT 19:00
Hello all! We haven’t been in touch in a while, but we want to start off by thanking everyone who re-joined the club last year! Our AGM will be at the Clubhouse on Thursday the 27th of February, starting at 7pm, and we are looking for as many members to come along as possible!
Unfortunately, during 2024 the club has made a serious financial loss due to falling memberships and rising costs. Over the past few years, the club has been able to survive years of financial losses due to having a healthy bank balance; however, we are now at a point where that option is no longer feasible. At the AGM, we are looking to discuss how we take the club forward and what options we have. Therefore, we need members in attendance to voice their opinions – so please have a think beforehand and come to share your thoughts!
We would also like to thank all those who helped with the maintenance and running of the club over the past year. Especially Shane Brown for helping us with taking the pontoon in and out of the water.
The current committee are strongly looking for other members to take on committee positions. The current committee would of course be there to offer support and attend meetings if required.
